Bowbrook Archers

Target, Field and Clout Archery Club based near Withington
"We like to think that we are one of the most welcoming and friendly Archery Clubs in Shropshire. We have a membership of almost 200 people, covering all age groups and Archery skill levels. While many of our members take part in competitions our main aim is to have fun and enjoy shooting. We encourage all members to develop Archery for themselves, be that target, field or clout disciplines. We also welcome all bow types: compound, freestyle (recurve), longbow, traditional and barebow.
We are one of the only clubs in Shropshire that has its own shooting ground, providing both Outdoor and Indoor ranges. Members have unlimited access to these area’s and can shoot at virtually any time, providing ArcheryGB safety guidelines are followed. Our outdoor range has targets laid out at a variety of both imperial and metric distances which can easily be moved and additional targets can be set up, as required."

Bowmen of Caradoc

Longbow Target and Field archery club based near Church Stretton

Established in 2012, Bowmen Of Caradoc was formed by a number of both male and female archers wishing to shoot only the longbow, warbow or barebow. They are able to shoot both target and field archery.

Croesoswallt Archers
Target & Clout Archery Club based on the outskirts of Oswestry Shropshire.
The club recently relocated to a new field in the grounds of the British Ironwork Centre just south of Oswestry on the A5. The 10+ acre field laid out in four separate shooting areas: North Range with 16 lanes, South Range with 8 lanes, a 4-lane Beginner’s Range and a full-length Clout Range.
• The field offers members access 7 days per week, to practice with all bow types.
• Both Imperial & Metric distances are available for shooting.
• The club offers Beginners Course & Coaching.
• Pre-arranged “Introduction to Archery” for schools, youth groups, corporate bodies and other social clubs.
• Invitation to current Archery GB members archers from other clubs to come and visit and enjoy our club grounds with us.
The club is currently of medium-sized membership with the potential for significant growth.

Hafren Foresters AC
